The old inn’s restaurant is a very charming and romantic place where it is
possible to have dinner by candlelight, and taste genuine local food in front of
the beautiful eighteenth-century fireplace in the grandmother Melania’s little
privè dining room, or in the podestà’s dining room, or in the main dining room.
The owner of the inn: Ariella Sacchi is also a prize-winning chef and prepares
delicious dishes based on local food: omelette with mushrooms, mixed crostini, "piccatine"
with melted cheese and walnuts, homemade pasta (tagliatelle, gnocchi, etc.),
risottos, char-grilled local food, salmi wild boar, etc. Besides, in season, our
menu comprises dainty white truffle, game, and mushrooms. We’ve also a select
cellar and you’ll taste excellent wines. Open for lunch and dinner. Our guests
can request the half board to have dinner tasting local food by candlelight. |
